This 2D stop-motion animation is about a witch lived with her big tree happily in the forest, which built with iMovie and Sketchbook. Unfortunately, a magician came and turned her hope to ash. Is she going to eat the flower of death? The work is inspired by my personal experience and a Japanese song called The reasons why I thought I'd die (僕が死のうと思ったのは) by Mika Nakashima. In which, it's a story about redemption, how a person saved another person.
And the story is based on my personal experience of being bully in my secondary school only because I don’t like to speak a lot and like to be alone. All the classmates just act like I am just not here and laugh at me. One day, when I went back home, my parents hit me for my brother’s mistakes. At that moment, I thought that I have no reason to live anymore, my existence only brought me pain and become more self-abased and reserved, and the bullying got more serious. Then I started to think of committing suicide, but someone stopped me. Although he is only a Japanese singer, his songs and his own experience tell me that everyone have their reasons to live and it is possible for everyone to change.
